ABOUT THE JOB
To manage the operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of TM's broadcast technology platforms by ensuring high system availability, operational stability, service reliability, and seamless end-to-end media workflows through effective DevOps practices, automation, system integration, and operational governance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for implementing, operating, and supporting end-to-end broadcast platforms, including content ingest, playout, distribution, VOD processing, publishing, monitoring, and quality control systems.
- Level 3 escalation support across all IPBC platforms, including ingest, playout, distribution, MAM, and transmission systems, acting as the final internal technical escalation point.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities and manage the maintenance approval and change management process for new and existing broadcast systems.
- Drive workflow automation and system integration initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability across broadcast and media workflows.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and service quality, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, and system architecture diagrams to support ongoing operations and knowledge management.
- Support infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and high-availability architecture design for mission-critical broadcast environments.
- Track operational capacity and performance trends, flagging infrastructure issues
- Liaise with vendors and OEM support on unresolved Level 3 issues, tracking resolution progress against agreed support SLAs.
- Maintain operational runbooks, escalation matrices, and a knowledge base to support consistent, repeatable incident response and service continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, monitoring tools, and support workflows to enhance reliability and reduce recurring incidents.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Media Technology or related disciplines.
WE VALUE
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in broadcast operations, broadcast technology platforms, media systems, DevOps, workflow automation, systems integration, digital media delivery, or related fields.
- Professional certifications in Broadcast Technology, Media Systems, DevOps, IT Service Management (ITIL), Cloud Technologies, Systems Integration, Kubernetes, Project Management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
