Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for the administration, implementation, and communication of compensation and benefits programs that support business strategy for assigned sites. Aligns local practices to the global Total Rewards strategies and local requirements. Partners with Global Total Rewards team on design and evaluation of Total Rewards programs that will attract, motivate, and retain talent in all areas of the business. Responsible for HR Operations functions for the site including ensuring employee data accuracy in all systems, leave management, Time & Attendance, Reporting, and Employee Services. Collaborates closely with global HR partners to implement and enhance HR systems and processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • In alignment with the Global Total Rewards team, administers compensation and benefits programs, analysis and practices for assigned site(s).
  • Reviews proposed pay changes for alignment with corporate philosophy, policies, and internal equity.
  • Partners with Global Total Rewards Team review and optimize programs including base pay, incentive programs, equity programs, and health and welfare programs that support talent acquisition, pay-for-performance and retention strategies.
  • Proactively identify and address potential areas of concern as well as opportunities by partnering with the Global Total Rewards team.
  • Provide coaching to management regarding employee compensation and conducts research and formation of proposals for management review. Analyzes career paths and job families to ensure compensation is in appropriate alignment.
  • In partnership with Global Total Rewards team, manages employee benefits program, including health, medical, insurance and wellness initiatives. Liase with insurance providers and benefits vendors to ensure optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managed leave absences in accordance with company policies and country and local laws.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory and company-specific regulations.
  • Partners with the Global Total Rewards team and local HR to execute any mandatory government pay increases and the annual compensation process (in conjunction with the performance management process) including merit, bonus, and promotions to expected standards and timelines.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation and benefits policies and practices and partners with Global Total Rewards team to identify and implement changes when necessary.
  • Responsible for HR Operations functions for the site including ensuring employee data accuracy in all systems, leave management, Time & Attendance, Reporting, and Employee Services.
  • Partners with the Payroll department to ensure accuracy of pay for site employees, including providing updates aligned to promotions or the annual compensation processes.
  • Maintains the time attendance system and ensures accurate attendance tracking. Troubleshoot and resolve attendance discrepancies in collaboration with payroll and managers.
  • Generate reports and analysis as needed.
  • Handles confidential and sensitive business information, including but not limited to compensation data, strategic plans, financial results, and trade secrets.
  • Maintain high standards and ensure the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of employee data in HR systems.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of corporate strategies, policies, and procedures across functional or departmental areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring readiness and compliance for statutory audits, including Labor Departments. Liase with auditors and regulatory bodies and provide all required documentation. Support internal audits and ensure prompt resolution of any findings or recommendations.
  • Responsible for managing a team of employees as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
  • Five to ten years of progressive HR experience focused on compensation and benefits, at a large factory (public company experience preferred).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with HR metrics, information and data analysis, impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and globally integrated solutions with ability to interpret data to make fact-based decisions.

EDUCATION:
Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business or related discipline.

Desirable:
  • Advanced degree (Masters in HR-related discipline or MBA)
  • PHR, SPHR, or GPHR.
