Role Responsibilities:
The Manager – Finance & Accounting is responsible for supporting the overall finance operations of the Group, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow monitoring, and internal control processes. The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, supports business performance monitoring, and assists Management in operational and financial decision-making.
This position plays an important role in maintaining financial discipline, improving reporting processes, and supporting the day-to-day finance function across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for Management review.
- Assist in preparing business unit and project-level financial analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
B. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance and perform variance analysis.
- Support cost monitoring and financial control initiatives across business units.
C. Financial Analysis & Operational Support
- Analyse financial performance, profitability, and operational costs.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support Management decision-making.
- Assist in identifying operational improvement and cost optimisation opportunities.
D. Cash Flow & Working Capital Monitoring
- Monitor daily cash flow and operational funding requirements.
- Assist in managing receivables, payables, and working capital controls.
- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
E. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support audit processes and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Assist in implementing finance process improvements and standardisation.
F. Reporting & System Improvement
- Assist in improving reporting processes, templates, and financial dashboards.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data.
- Participate in finance system and process enhancement initiatives.
G. Team Coordination & Support
- Supervise and guide finance team members where applicable.
- Coordinate with internal departments on finance-related matters.
· Support the development of finance staff and promote teamwork within the department..
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting functions.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and management accounting.
- Experience in property development, construction, or multi-entity environment is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
