Job Responsibilities:
Learning & Development
- Develop and implement the annual Learning & Development strategy, training roadmap, and budget aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify competency gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
- Design, develop, coordinate, and evaluate internal and external training programmes, workshops, and learning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, SOPs, e-learning content, and other learning resources.
Talent & Leadership Development
- Develop and implement leadership development programmes for supervisors, managers, and high-potential employees.
- Support succession planning, career development, and talent management initiatives.
- Work with department heads to establish competency frameworks and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Training Administration & Compliance
- Manage the company's Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate employee training records.
- Coordinate training schedules, venues, trainers, and external training providers.
- Manage HRD Corp grant applications, claims, and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements.
- Monitor mandatory training completion and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and business performance indicators.
- Prepare training reports, KPIs, and budget utilisation reports for management review.
- Recommend continuous improvements to learning programmes and promote a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
Strategic HR Projects
- Collaborate with universities, colleges, and educational institutions to develop scholarship programmes, internships, graduate development initiatives, and industry partnerships.
Compliance & Audit
- Monitor mandatory and compliance training completion across the organization.
- Maintain complete and accurate training documentation for internal, external, customer, and certification audits (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP, BRC, FSSC, or other applicable standards).
- Review and continuously improve L&D policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure audit compliance and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Professional certification in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Training (e.g., HRD Corp TTT, CPTD, SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Experience with HRD Corp grant management is preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, including senior management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
