Duties and responsibilities

  • Pricing Management:
  • Develop and execute regional pricing strategies and roadmap aligned with overall business objectives and market conditions in alignment with the global ComEx Team, including regional communication and education plans and country rollout plan.
  • Analyze market trends across the region, competitive pricing, and customer demand to identify pricing opportunities and risks in collaboration with local pricing responsible functions.
  • Coordinate/Conduct thorough pricing analyses to assess product/service profitability, elasticity, and value perception.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams, including divisional Marketing and Sales, Finance and Controlling to ensure pricing strategies are effectively implemented and aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Utilize pricing analytics and tools to track key metrics, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordinate the regional role out, implementation and use of methodologies / tools along the pricing process together with local and global stakeholder and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Provide guidance and support to local teams on pricing tactics, discounting policies, and deal structuring to maximize revenue and margin.
  • Business Analytics:
  • Develop and execute regional business analytics strategy including communication and education plans, implementation of necessary tools and reports aligned with overall business objectives in collaboration with the global and regional ComEx Team and drive continuous improvement in data analytics processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional regional teams, including divisional Marketing and Sales, Operations, and Finance, Controlling, to understand business requirements and to translate data insights into strategic recommendations for business growth and optimization.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources related to marketing and sales performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities and to generate actionable insights and equally enable local teams.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to track business KPIs and communicate insights into business performance to stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate the companys market research and analysis process for the region to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Together with the local organisations, monitor regulatory changes, technological advancements, and policies that impact the healthcare market.
  • Set data quality standards and best practices in collaboration with global ComEx to ensure data integrity, consistency and compliance and monitor data quality and integrity metrics, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on business analytics and industry best practices, providing insights to support strategic planning and execution and coordinate regional team of local business analysts.

Professional competencies

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must have experience in pricing management and business analytics and deep understanding of pricing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Experience in independent problem-solving with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in working independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities effectively and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in communication (presentation) with senior management with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in effective collaboration with the ability to influence across different functions and levels of the organization.
  • Experience in market research / market intelligence is an added advantage,
  • Proficiency in data analysis/visualization tools such as SQL, Python / Power BI, Tableau and experience with pricing software/tools is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare industry environment is preferred.
