Manufacturing Engineer (Chamber Assembly)

Job Description

1. Develop cleanroom assembly work instructions and torque specifications for ultra-high vacuum chamber assembly at the Batu Kawan facility to ensure assembly precision.
2. Perform IQC inspection for:
3. CNC-machined chamber components
4. Vacuum sealing components
5. Ceramic liners
6. Ensure dimensional accuracy and eliminate defective parts before assembly.
7. Resolve manufacturing issues including:
8. Micro vacuum leaks
9. Sealing surface deformation
10. Cooling line misalignment
11. Optimize assembly fixtures and manufacturing processes.
12. Monitor first-pass assembly yield, perform root cause analysis for assembly defects, and work with precision machining suppliers to improve component quality.
13. Train assembly technicians on:
14. Vacuum sealing techniques
15. Cleanroom assembly procedures
16. Proper torque control practices

Job Requirements

1. Education
2. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Manufacturing, Precision Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in precision equipment or vacuum component assembly engineering.
4. Technical Skills
5. Knowledge of metal vacuum sealing technologies.
6. Precision torque control.
7. Cleanroom assembly standards.
8. Incoming inspection procedures.
9. Process improvement experience.
10. General Requirements
11. Able to read and write English technical documentation.
12. Strong troubleshooting, process optimization, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
