Job Description

The MarCom Manager leads the Group's marketing communications, branding, and strategic communications across all entities and stakeholders. The role ensures all activities are commercially aligned, well-governed, and consistent with the Group's long-term direction, corporate identity, and strategic positioning, while strengthening corporate reputation, stakeholder confidence, and sustainability positioning through clear and strategic communication of complex business and sustainability narratives.

Duties and Responsibilities

3.1 Corporate Branding & Strategic Positioning

  • Develop, manage, maintain, and strengthen the Group's corporate branding and communication positioning across all internal and external channels.
  • Ensure consistency, integrity, and compliance in corporate identity usage, brand guidelines, communication standards, presentation formats, messaging consistency, and visual and narrative alignment.
  • Support the development and execution of communication strategies aligned with the Group's long-term business direction, sustainability initiatives, commercial positioning, ecosystem narrative, and strategic growth objectives.
  • Safeguard the Group's professional reputation and ensure all communication materials reflect corporate standards and positioning.

3.2 Marketing Communications Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing communication initiatives including but not limited to digital platforms, corporate website, social media, internal communication channels, corporate events, exhibitions, public relations, and positioning initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing communications are commercially relevant, strategically aligned, and operationally practical.
  • Develop communication plans, execution timelines, implementation schedules, and coordination frameworks.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness, stakeholder engagement quality, and branding consistency.

3.3 Content Development & Communication Materials

  • Lead the development, review, and quality control of communication materials including but not limited to corporate profiles, presentation decks, marketing materials, employer branding content, sustainability communications, thought leadership content, internal communications, and event materials.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, professionally written, governed, and aligned with approved business narratives and strategic positioning.
  • Translate complex sustainability, investment, operational, technical, and business narratives into clear, commercially understandable, and strategically aligned communication for different stakeholder groups.

3.4 Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including leadership teams, business units, operational teams, sustainability functions, and People & Culture.
  • Manage external parties including agencies, vendors, designers, printers, media representatives, and event partners.
  • Ensure alignment, communication flow, and execution coordination across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Escalate material risks, reputational concerns, timeline issues, or governance matters to management where necessary.

3.5 Digital Platforms & Online Presence

  • Oversee the Group's digital communication channels and online branding presence.
  • Ensure digital content reflects professionalism, strategic positioning, and governance expectations.
  • Monitor engagement performance, communication effectiveness, and platform consistency.
  • Coordinate updates and improvements to digital communication assets.

3.6 Events, Campaigns & Corporate Initiatives

  • Lead branding, communication, and marketing-related events and campaigns.
  • Ensure execution is professional, efficient, and aligned with approved objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for successful implementation.
  • Conduct post-event review, documentation, and continuous improvement where applicable.

3.7 Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all communication activities comply with internal policies, governance requirements, approval protocols, brand standards, and legal and reputational considerations.
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive corporate information.
  • Identify and mitigate communication, branding, and reputational risks.
  • Ensure proper record management and version control of communication materials.

3.8 Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage approved budgets responsibly and ensure cost utilisation aligns with business priorities.
  • Evaluate vendors, quotations, deliverables, and service quality for value and effectiveness.
  • Ensure vendor engagements comply with internal procurement and approval processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Branding, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications, Branding, or related functions.
  • Experience in corporate, industrial, manufacturing, sustainability, B2B, investment, or regional business environments will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors is preferred.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and execution discipline with high attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Commercially aware with strong business acumen.
  • Professional and effective communicator across all levels.
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
