About the role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Kidz Emporium Therapy in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, helping them achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients strengths, needs, and functional limitations
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address clients physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
• Providing hands-on therapy sessions, including activity-based interventions, to help clients improve their independence in daily living activities
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
• Monitoring clients progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client documentation
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Registered with the Malaysian Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a pediatric or rehabilitation setting
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and the healthcare team
• Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
