KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Legal Research and Drafting
- Conducting ad hoc legal and regulatory research, including preparing research summaries and briefing materials for the Legal Department.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, advice, memorandum, reports and other legal documentations.
B. Contract Management and Administration
- Developing and maintaining legal templates based on industry standards and business requirements.
- Supporting contract drafting, review, execution, and storage.
- Coordinating with internal departments on preparation of legal templates and documentation requirements.
- Managing contract databases, registers, and document repositories.
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of the Company's contract lifecycle management processes.
C. Due Diligence, Governance and Process Improvement
- Conducting market research and evaluating suitable contract lifecycle management, due diligence, and third-party risk management solutions.
- Supporting the development and implementation of internal contract lifecycle management and third-party, vendor, and partnership due diligence frameworks.
- Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of due diligence and governance processes, including monitoring compliance across departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised and reputable university.
- Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) or equivalent academic qualification is preferred.
- Candidates who have completed or are undergoing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP), Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), pupillage, or equivalent professional legal qualification will be preferred.
- Law graduates with strong academic credentials and relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, regulatory body, or professional services environment is preferred.
- The candidate will be expected to conduct legal research, compliance, due diligence and corporate advisory works.
- Prior experience supporting contract management, or process improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.

- Ability to conduct legal and regulatory research using legal databases and online research platforms (e.g. LexisNexis, Westlaw, CLJ Law, LawNet, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, document management systems, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong document drafting, proofreading, and records management skills.
- Ability to organise and maintain databases, registers, trackers, and document repositories.
