Job Description

Job Specifications of Payroll Manager

1. Graduate/ Postgraduate with minimum 5 years of payroll knowledge and at least 2 years
of managerial experience.
2. Strong knowledge of end-to-end Payroll processes, Tax and Employment Laws and
Payroll Accounting.
3. Strong Microsoft Office skills including proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot table,
formulas).
4. Strong calculation/ analytical skills.
5. Be a self-motivated and result-oriented individual with an ability and experience to
manage, motivate and lead teams of skilled staff consistently, while taking equitable and
fair decisions in leadership.
6. Excellent organization & time management skills. Should exercise good judgment in
prioritizing deliverables for oneself and team.
7. Able to work under pressure and tight dateline.
8. Client management experience.
9. Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
10. Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.


Key Tasks of Payroll Manager
1. Payroll functional service to Asia Pacific countries.
2. Contribute in global migration and implementation project in a Business Process
Outsourcing (BPO) environment.
3. Client Management for service delivery as per Service Level.
4. Ownership of process, knowledge documents, and team performance and development
5. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
6. Maintain emphasis within the team on deadlines, quality, knowledge, control procedures
and continuous improvement on performance standards in a multi-country payroll
environment.
7. Develop effective workflow processes and efficient manpower structure.
8. Review and provide process improvement opportunities.
9. Prepare monthly billing on recurring fees and any charge back expenses.
10. Manage the team to foster greater teamwork and cooperation amongst them, which
includes counseling and conflict resolution.
11. Handling enquiries from clients and resolving any issues arising.
12. Conduct monthly and quarterly business review with client on payroll operations
performance
