What You'll Do
About the Role
As PR & Communications Lead, you will be responsible for building AI Rudder's global public relations function from the ground up.
Reporting to the Head of Go-To-Market, this is a global role focused on strengthening AI Rudder's brand across international markets, with Southeast Asia and Latin America as our current priority growth markets while supporting future expansion into new regions as the business scales.
Success in this role means establishing AI Rudder as one of the most recognized and credible AI companies among enterprise decision-makers, customers, partners, analysts, future employees, and the media across our priority markets, while laying the foundation for expansion into new regions over time. You will own AI Rudder's external communications strategy, shaping how the company is perceived through media relations, thought leadership, analyst engagement, executive profiling, employer branding, and corporate communications.
This is a builder role for someone who enjoys creating processes from scratch, identifying compelling stories, and executing independently in a fast-moving start-up environment.
- Develop and execute AI Rudder's global public relations and corporate communications strategy, aligned with the company's Go-To-Market priorities and business objectives.
- Develop and execute employer branding initiatives that strengthen AI Rudder's reputation as an employer of choice, working closely with People & Talent teams to attract top talent globally.
- Develop thought leadership programs, including bylines, executive commentary, opinion pieces, and speaking opportunities that position AI Rudder's leadership as trusted voices in AI and enterprise technology.
- Lead analyst relations initiatives, building AI Rudder's visibility and credibility with leading industry analyst firms such as Gartner and G2, and other influential industry platforms.
- Partner with senior leadership to build executive profiles through media interviews, conferences, podcasts, award submissions, and other external opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage, industry developments, analyst research, and competitor positioning to identify opportunities and inform ongoing communications strategy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Leadership, and People teams to ensure consistent messaging across all external communications.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 3–5 years of experience in Public Relations or Corporate Communications, preferably within B2B technology, SaaS, AI, or enterprise software.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting analyst relations with firms such as Gartner, G2 or similar industry analysts, with an understanding of how analyst engagement influences enterprise buying decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute PR strategies that strengthen brand awareness, thought leadership, corporate reputation, and employer branding.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex AI and technology concepts into compelling narratives for enterprise audiences.
- Experience developing executive profiling programs, including media interviews, speaking engagements, podcasts, or award submissions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to operate independently and build new programs in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
- Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin)
- Existing network of journalists and media contacts across Southeast Asia and/or Latin America.
- Experience working with external PR agencies across multiple international markets.
- Experience planning and executing employer branding campaigns in partnership with HR or Talent Acquisition teams.
- Familiarity with media databases, journalist outreach platforms, and PR measurement tools.
- Experience supporting communications for AI, SaaS, or enterprise technology companies.
