Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between our sales team, technical experts, and clients, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth by showcasing the value of our cybersecurity services and solutions. Your expertise will help prospects and customers understand how our products and services meet their specific security needs, ensuring successful adoption and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Expertise & Presentation
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their security challenges and presenting tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and present architecture diagrams, technical workflows, and solution overviews.
2. Sales Support
- Partner with sales teams to identify client needs, create value propositions, and develop customized solution proposals.
- Assist in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and security assessments.
- Engage with potential clients to answer technical questions and address concerns during the sales cycle.
3. Customer Engagement
- Participate in client meetings to gather technical requirements and align them with the company's cybersecurity offerings.
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders within customer organizations to facilitate trust and adoption.
4. Market Insights & Strategy
- Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to the creation of technical marketing collateral, including whitepapers, blogs, and webinars.
5. Post-Sales Handover
- Work closely with post-sales and implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to deployment.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and assist in defining client success metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role within the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains, including endpoint protection, network security, threat intelligence, cloud security, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, platforms, and frameworks such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, or vulnerability scanners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and container security.
- Experience creating PoC environments or working on technical sales proof-of-value projects.
