Pre-Sales Consultant Smart Apps

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant Smart Apps to support a cloud-based Smart Apps portfolio focused on the insurance industry. This role is responsible for designing and presenting ServiceNow Workflow solutions that enable workflow automation and digital business applications for insurance customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow application development, workflow automation, and cloud-native architecture, with the ability to engage customers, understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and support pre-sales activities. This role focuses on ServiceNow Workflow capabilities and enterprise application development, rather than traditional ITSM or Infrastructure Management implementations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 10–15 years of total IT experience
• 3–5 years of relevant ServiceNow experience
• Experience designing or developing enterprise applications and workflows

Technical Requirements

Must-have:

• ServiceNow Workflow development experience
• Experience building applications using ServiceNow
• Hands-on experience with:
• Flow Designer
• Workflow Editor
• ServiceNow Workflow capabilities
• Cloud-based application development experience
• AWS exposure (preferred)
• The primary focus is on application development and workflow automation.

Not looking for candidates with experience focused primarily on:

• ITSM
• IT Operations
• Infrastructure Management
• Service Desk implementations

Functional Requirements

The hiring manager is looking for a Techno-Functional Solution Architect who can:

• Design cloud-based workflow solutions
• Understand insurance business processes
• Build workflow applications using ServiceNow
• Work with cloud-native architectures
• Support Smart Apps solutions for insurance clients

Preferred Industry Background

Strong preference for candidates with:

• Insurance industry experience
• Insurance application development
• Insurance workflow automation

Candidates without insurance experience may still be considered if they have strong experience in:

• ServiceNow Workflow
• Enterprise workflow applications
• Cloud application architecture

Cloud Preference

• Preferred: AWS
• Azure exposure is acceptable, but AWS is preferred.
