We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our client in the Cloud and Application Services team.
In this customer-facing role, you'll work closely with customers, sales teams, delivery teams, and AWS specialists to shape and position application transformation solutions.
What you'll do
- Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business needs and translate them into solution concepts
- Design scalable, secure, and reliable AWS application architectures
- Develop solution proposals, architecture documentation, and cost models
- Lead technical workshops, demonstrations, discussions, and proof-of-concepts
- Apply your Java application development expertise alongside modern frontend technologies
- Embed DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and secure development
- Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth solution handover
What we're looking for
- Experience designing application solutions on AWS, ideally in a customer-facing or presales environment
- Strong Java development expertise; .NET experience is a plus
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks
- Solid understanding of AWS compute, storage, networking, and cloud-native architecture
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and container-based deployments
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
