Job Purpose
Your role is to develop, implement and monitor pricing strategies that optimize risk, customer demand and profitability. He/she will be using leading edge modelling techniques to provide pricing advice to ensure the products are priced accurately and competitively. and will work closely with the Underwriting, Product, IT, Business Intelligence and Finance Team on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities
Product Pricing
- You will be research, analyze claim, premium and risk data to support product pricing and management in decision making processes and premium rating for new product & rating adjustment for existing product
Experience Monitoring
- You will prepare insightful monitoring of business segments, claims experience, competitor analysis and key performance indicators which would lead to insights that helps with decision making or as an indication for change in strategy.
Rating Implementation
- You will work with various internal stakeholders from IT & Underwriting to implement rating change
Job Requirements
- You must possess a bachelor's degree in actuarial science or in data science or mathematics or its equivalent.
- You must have at least 5-7 years of working experience in pricing. Having prior experience in motor pricing is advantageous.
- You must have good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, or SQL
- You must have good interpersonal & analytical skills to collaborate with our internal stakeholders within and other divisions in Etiqa to strengthen and foster seamless business analytics that values add to the sales channels.
