Combines deep platform expertise (Radar Live/Earnix) with programming proficiency (SQL/Python) to enhance profitability, testing governance, and market responsiveness.

Professional Experience & Key Accountabilities

Radar Tech Lead (Division: Digital Transformation | Reporting to: Pricing Implementation Lead)

Designed, built, and maintained live rating engines while leading pricing algorithm deployment into production environments.

• Live Rating Engine Development: Translated Excel-based rating models from product actuaries into fully functional, production-ready algorithms on the Radar Live platform.
• End-to-End Deployment: Oversaw the complete rating flow—from pricing algorithm design to live rate deployment—ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
• Platform Optimization: Collaborated with product actuaries to enhance Radar platform design, focusing on data flow, governance, impact analysis modules, reporting, and advanced modeling techniques (propensity models, GBMs).
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Designed and executed efficient end-to-end testing strategies; proactively identified, troubleshot, and resolved system issues.
• Independent Ownership: Took full ownership of pricing system deliverables—managed risks, proposed solutions, and drove initiatives from conception to completion with minimal supervision.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience Level

5+ years of working experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of pricing algorithms and application of underwriting rules. Ideally includes experience managing rate/algorithm changes to live rating platforms.
