Job description :
Energy Consumption Analysis:
Conduct detailed assessments of energy consumption across various processes and systems Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Develop models and simulations to evaluate energy usage and propose optimization strategies
Energy Efficiency Improvement:
Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste Identify and prioritize energy-saving initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement energy-efficient technologies and practices
Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and energy conservation Recommend process modifications, equipment upgrades, and procedural changes to enhance efficiency Conduct trials and experiments to validate proposed improvements and measure their effectiveness
Regulatory Compliance:
Lead in energy management and successfully contribute to bring Oleon Port Klang to be certified under ISO 50001 and maintain it status Stay updated on relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to energy management Ensure compliance with environmental and energy regulations by implementing appropriate measures Prepare documentation and reports to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor energy usage and performance metrics Implement monitoring systems to track energy consumption in real-time Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate energy performance and improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and management teams to align energy management efforts with overall business objectives Provide technical expertise and support to other departments on energy-related matters Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Job qualifications :
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. At least 3-year(s) hands on experience in process production / engineering / energy Strong problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Must be a strong team player, with leadership ability to lead and focus on daily results. Knowledge or Experience in Energy Saving Project/Programmed / Energy management will be an added value Knowledge or Experience in LEAN & Continuous Improvement will be an added value Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
