Job Description

Position : Contract Operationalisation & Maintenance Analyst (post-award contract management)

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Location: The Horizon Bangsar South City, No. 8, Jalan Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.00am – 5.00pm) with the possibility to work on shift (11am – 8pm / 1pm-10pm), when required

Employment Type: 12 months contract with PERSOL

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working arrangement (60/40)

Salary range : RM9,000 - RM12,800 (based on experience & qualification)

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Governance

  • Lead and support contract management activities across Procurement Sourcing & Contracting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Contract Management Guidelines, Policies, Category Management Policy (CMP), and established ways of working.
  • Support contract assurance, audits, contract expiry monitoring, and contract close-out activities.
  • Maintain and manage contract management policies, procedures, templates, and governance documentation.

Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive harmonisation and standardisation of contract management processes across procurement functions.
  • Support business transformation, process optimisation, and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, simplification, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in contract management improvement projects and change implementation activities.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Sourcing & Contracting teams, and other subject matter experts.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across different business functions and geographical locations.
  • Communicate process updates, best practices, and governance requirements effectively across the organisation.

Risk Management & Analysis

  • Support initiatives to minimise contract value leakage and improve commercial risk controls.
  • Conduct contract-related analysis and support data cleansing initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through insights, reporting, and business recommendations.

What We're Looking For

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.

✔ Minimum 4 years of experience in:

  • Contract Management
  • Procurement
  • Sourcing & Contracting
  • Commercial Operations
  • Contract Governance
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)

✔ Strong understanding of contractual terms, contract governance, and commercial risk management.

✔ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

✔ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.

✔ Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global or virtual environment.

✔ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
