Position Summary

As a Procurement Executive, you will play a key role in optimizing our purchasing activities, ensuring that we purchase the right materials, parts, supplies, and equipment at the right time and at the best available price. You will also be involved in developing and implementing supplier guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements, and managing and controlling costs.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • To assist Procurement Manager in managing all aspects of the purchasing process, from identifying and sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and research for potential new suppliers to ensure a competitive and diverse supply chain.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Manage and control food costs at targeted levels.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in spending and inventory control to identify areas for saving.
  • Ensure that purchasing activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare cost estimates for tendered menus and projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts and their terms.
  • Assist in managing and controlling repair and maintenance matters.
  • Assist in new outlet build-up, central kitchen renovation, and project-related matters.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of procurmenet experience, preferably in F&B and/or related experience.
  • Resourceful with strong industry suppliers contacts
  • Has high integrity and is meticulous.
  • Strong in cost saving, negotiation and sourcing
  • Strong human relations and communications skills
  • Strong computer skills and software programs
  • Organised and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
