Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely sourcing of raw materials, production components, machinery, and indirect purchases while optimizing cost, quality, and lead times.
Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, tender management, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, value engineering, supplier consolidation, and process improvements.
Supplier & Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and consistent product quality.
Conduct supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and risk assessments to improve supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks.
Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, service agreements, and long-term supply contracts.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Work closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure procurement activities align with production schedules and inventory requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and material availability to prevent production disruptions while optimizing inventory carrying costs.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient inventory management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Finance, and R&D teams to support new product introductions, supplier qualifications, and material approvals.
Support manufacturing operations by ensuring critical materials and equipment are available according to project timelines.
Provide procurement expertise during product development, supplier selection, and technical evaluations.
Procurement Governance & Compliance
Establish and maintain procurement policies, SOPs, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and governance.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor procurement documentation, contracts, and purchasing records to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
Track and analyze procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, purchase price variance, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery.
Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of procurement or sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering, metal fabrication, industrial equipment, or related industries.
Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement operations and supplier relationships across local and international markets.
Experience sourcing raw materials, fabricated components, industrial equipment, or engineering-related products will be highly advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
