This role carries end-to-end responsibility for procurement master data within the defined scope, supporting SSC setup and transition, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in master data management and governance.
- End-to-end responsibility for procurement master data within the defined scope (supplier, purchasing info record, procurement related attributes and workflows (e.g. material master)).
- Implement, enforce and monitor centrally defined procurement master data standards (ownership remains with GP Governance & Processes).
- Validate, approve and release master data changes in SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, LN INFOR and related systems.
- Ensure data completeness, accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Take over defined procurement master data scopes from global procurement entities during transition phases.
- Support the stabilization and harmonization of existing master data during SSC ramp-up.
- Establish repeatable, scalable master data processes to ensure long-term SSC operability.
- Prepare master data structures and workflows to enable supplier operations activities.
- Act as central point of contact for procurement master data topics for German and international procurement stakeholders.
- Clarify incomplete, incorrect or non-standard master data requests and ensure compliance with defined governance.
- Closely collaborate with IT and GP Governance & Processes to resolve system- and process-related master data issues.
- Identify and document opportunities to optimize master data processes, data quality, efficiency and process stability.
- Propose improvement initiatives to GP Governance & Processes and Procurement Excellence for decision and prioritization.
- Support the further development and operationalization of GP governance frameworks.
What Sets You Apart
- Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable field
- Minimum 3–5 years ofyears of experience in procurement master data management , procurement operations or supply chain processes.
- Experience in an international environment; experience in Shared Service Center setups is an advantage
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and master data structures.
- Strong practical experience with procurement and ERP systems (e.g. SAP ECC, LN INFOR, SAP Ariba)
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Power BI (or similar reporting tools) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to enforce standards consistently.
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
- Ability and willingness to read and process procurement master data in German (training/ support provided)
- German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
