Role Description The Procurement Officer - Tebrau is a full-time, on-site role based in Senai, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to support operational and project needs. This role involves preparing and processing purchase orders, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The Procurement Officer will review contracts, negotiate terms and pricing, and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. Daily tasks also include monitoring inventory levels, analyzing purchasing data, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Collaboration with finance, operations, and other departments is required to optimize costs and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including experience managing end-to-end sourcing and supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in handling purchase orders and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Experience with contract negotiation, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements.
- Solid analytical skills to review quotations, compare supplier options, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environment is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Senai, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and good Microsoft Excel skills are beneficial.
