Production Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Load and unload semiconductor wafers, materials, and production lots.
• Monitor machine performance and production processes to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on products.
• Record production data accurately in the manufacturing execution system (MES) or production logs.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and escalate issues to technicians or engineers.
• Follow cleanroom protocols, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Support troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet daily production output, quality, and yield targets.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate production status effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in a semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic computer literacy for production data entry.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing PPE and cleanroom attire.
