Job Description
- Develop and manage Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to support customer demand and delivery commitments.
- Lead production planning activities to optimize machine utilization, reduce downtime, and achieve on-time delivery targets.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Maintenance teams to align production schedules with operational capacity and maintenance requirements.
- Monitor production progress, work-in-progress (WIP), and shifting priorities, making adjustments to plans when necessary.
- Oversee inventory management for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Drive inventory accuracy through effective controls, cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Ensure continuous material availability to support production while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Manage planning and inventory activities through SAP, ensuring accurate master data, reporting, and system utilization.
- Lead, coach, and develop the PPIC team while ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Track, analyze, and present key PPIC performance metrics, providing regular operational updates and improvement recommendations to senior management
The Successful Applicant
A Successful PPIC Head Should Have
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience across supply chain, inventory management, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Proven team leadership experience with exposure to senior stakeholder management.
- Strong SAP planning and inventory management experience.
- Analytical and data-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communicator with project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
