SCOPE OF ROLE:
Assisting in handling PO system, prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. To assist with daily departmental activities and purchasing function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To assist with purchasing functions and manage daily departmental operation.
- Prepare purchase order and send to related vendors.
- Work with vendors to follow up on deliver dates and back orders.
- To handle purchasing works such as quotations, purchase order to supplier, monitor delivery of products.
- To review, verify and check the details of DO & PO
- Ensuring the goods are delivered on time.
- Work with all departments as require and good communication.
- To undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.
REQUIREMENT:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field or equivalent.
- Computer literate
- Required language(s): English or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Penang.
- Candidate must be good in negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a team.
- Independent and able to work under pressure and multi-tasking environment.
