Python Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team for a high-priority, short-term engagement. In this role, you will not only develop robust backend solutions but also integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into our workflow using Azure's ecosystem. You will be working in a fast-paced DevOps environment, ensuring seamless delivery and deployment of scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and microservices
• DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
• AI Integration: Work on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning models into production environments (e.g., utilizing Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, or custom ML models).
• Automation: Automate manual processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices.
• Cloud Management: Deploy and manage applications on Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, Functions, or AKS).

Required Skills & Experience

• Python Expertise (4+ years): Strong proficiency in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI frameworks is a plus).
• Azure DevOps (Proven Experience): Deep hands-on experience with Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines (YAML), and Test Plans. Must be able to build and troubleshoot complex pipelines.
• AI/ML Exposure: Practical experience in AI integration (e.g., Prompt Engineering, API calls to OpenAI, vector databases, or deploying ML models via Azure ML).
• Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes (AKS).
