QA Executive – Based in Bagan Datuk, Perak

Role Overview:-
We are seeking a detail-oriented
QA Executive to join our team in Bagan Datuk, Perak. In this role, you will oversee laboratory operations, maintain strict food safety standards, and ensure product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Quality Inspection & Control – Inspect incoming raw materials (kernel, milk, packaging, and ingredients) to ensure compliance with quality standards. – Monitor in-process production and final product quality. – Report and manage product release or hold statuses for powder products. – Oversee factory cleanliness, hygiene programs, and pest control services.
- Laboratory Operations & Analysis – Monitor daily laboratory quality analysis activities and external testing procedures. – Manage purchase requisitions for lab chemicals, equipment, and apparatus. – Coordinate external testing for water quality and other required parameters. – Assist in preparing and tracking the laboratory budget.
- Equipment Calibration & Compliance – Oversee calibration programs for laboratory instruments and schedule calibration appointments for production equipment. – Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) and required health certifications for customers. – Conduct internal GMP and HACCP training programs for staff.
- Systems Maintenance & Stakeholder Communication – Assist in implementing, maintaining, and updating Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). – Liaise with customers, auditors, and external partners as required regarding quality queries or issues.
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards in food manufacturing.
- Prior experience in lab management, testing, and instrument calibration.
- Good computer literature.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
