Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project stakeholder and vendors to lead, develop and deliver Master Test Strategy & Plan.
  • Review System Integration Test (SIT), QA UAT & User Acceptance Test (UAT) approach and strategy for the respective application to develop end to end test strategy.
  • Lead and manage the following activities for all impacted systems:
  • Test cases preparation & execution
  • Test data preparation including Test User Mgmt (user creation, access mgmt.)
  • Data migration preparation & execution
  • Performance & Stress test preparation & execution
  • Dry Run test preparation & execution
  • Operation Readiness Testing preparation & execution
  • Non-functional Test preparation & execution
  • Product configurations Testing (Proof of Concept)
  • Prepare Product Application on Test Environment
  • Lead, coordinate, manage and monitor SIT, QA & UAT process:
  • Manage and govern end to end testing providing quality assurance
  • Manage, track & triage defects and issues until closure
  • Track and prioritize the daily testing execution progress and defect status.
  • Conduct daily checkpoint meeting to update testing status & progress
  • Prepare and publish reporting dashboard on overall test management tracking status and progress
  • Lead & manage testing environment readiness and configuration changes.
  • Schedule cross team meeting (if required) for complex defects/issues.
  • Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project.
  • Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing.
  • Organize the testing kick-off meeting
  • Define the Strategy
  • Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation.
  • Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft skills).
  • Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
  • Arrange the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.
  • Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
  • Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
  • Check / Review the Test Cases documents.
  • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.
  • Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager
  • Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.)
  • Attend the regular call and discuss the weekly status with the client.
  • Communication with the Vendor (If required).
  • Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers.
  • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
  • Review various reports prepared by Test engineers.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
  • Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.

Your Merits :
  • 5&plus yrs. experience in a Test Manager capacity
  • Strong understanding of large IT Project Management, Integration and/or Business Application QA Testing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Testing for Telco Applications Charging & Billing, CRM
  • Charging & Billing upgrade experience required
  • Expert level experience with Client Quality Center/ALM, JIRA, Rally or other Test Management Tools
  • Must be a disciplined, self-starter and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required.
  • Ability to work with demanding users in a high pressure environment
  • Ability to multi-task is essential
