HIRING: QAQC & R&D MANAGER

Location: Sendayan, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Industry: Dairy / Milk Manufacturing

Salary: RM8,000 – RM13,000 (negotiable based on eperience)

We are currently sourcing an experienced QAQC & R&D Manager on behalf of an established dairy manufacturing company based in Sendayan TechValley, Seremban. This is a senior plant-based role responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety and Research & Development within a dairy / milk manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the plant's QAQC and R&D functions

• Ensure dairy manufacturing processes, including UHT, pasteurised and retort processes, meet required food safety and quality standards

• Monitor quality from raw material intake through production and final packaging

• Oversee laboratory testing, product specifications, testing methods and quality control systems

• Lead trials involving new raw materials, products and manufacturing processes

• Conduct product development and improvement involving formulation, flavour, colour, texture, nutritional value, preservation and packaging

• Manage internal and external audits, regulatory requirements, customer complaints, non-conformance and corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, MESTI and other applicable food safety standards

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities and internal departments on food safety and quality matters

• Prepare quality reports and monitor departmental KPIs, GMP performance and audit findings

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a relevant field

• Minimum 10 years of direct working experience in dairy / milk manufacturing is required

• Candidates without dairy / milk manufacturing experience will not be considered

• Experience in UHT, pasteurised and/or retort dairy processing is highly preferred

• Strong hands-on experience in QAQC, R&D, food safety and quality management systems

• Experience managing ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and/or MESTI requirements

• Good knowledge of local and overseas food regulatory requirements

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
