Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To drive quality system activities in support of Operations & EHS
  • Lead a team comprising Quality Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors, overseeing quality system operations, document control, equipment calibration management, and the holistic quality management journey—from material procurement to manufacturing processes, product dispatch, and return material handling
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of quality assurance, ensuring robust supplier quality management and compliance with customer specifications
  • Enforce stringent measures to ensure that only products meeting stringent quality criteria are dispatched for distribution
  • Take charge of nurturing and empowering the quality team, guiding them in formulating and implementing effective quality plans and systems, and fostering a culture of continuous quality enhancement
  • Develop innovative quality programs and initiatives geared towards achieving Total Quality Management, fostering collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain Management teams to optimize material quality, streamline production processes, enhance site installations, and elevate overall customer satisfaction levels
  • Coordinate and execute comprehensive quality audits and certifications, meticulously analyzing findings and implementing timely corrective actions and preventive measures

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics/ Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience is required for this position, preferably in semiconductor/ equipment manufacturing
  • Working knowledge in SPC, FMEA, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, Basic QA Tools, lead internal audits.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits, handling external audits for ISO 9000
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to manage stakeholders with good communication and written skills
