Quality Manager (Medical Device)

A medical device company in Penang is looking for a Quality Manager!

My client is a well established medical device manufacturing company with a strong focus on quality, precision and continuous improvement. The business operates within a highly regulated environment and serves customers across global markets. With ongoing growth and investment in operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager for their plant in Penang. In this role, you will be leading the quality function to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. You are also responsible for the quality management systems, driving corrective and preventive actions, managing customer quality concerns, and supporting audit readiness across the operation.

Your new role

• Lead and maintain the site's quality management system and compliance activities
  
  
• Drive customer complaint investigations, CAPA processes, and quality improvements
  
  
• Oversee supplier quality, incoming quality controls, and calibration programmes
  
• Support internal, customer, and certification audits while ensuring audit readiness
  
• Develop and manage quality teams, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline
  
• Experience leading quality activities within a manufacturing or technical environment
  
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar quality management systems
  
• Experience managing audits, CAPA processes, and quality improvement initiatives
  
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities
