Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in product research, development and testing tasks assigned by R&D Manager.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and directed for achieving company goals.
  • Prepare SOP for routine experiment and research and equipment use.
  • Manage and maintain work stations, R&D equipment and all areas utilized efficiently & effectively.
  • Coordinate and monitor pilot runs in production for newly launched products.
  • Maintain a legible, signed and documented laboratory notebook to keep records of achievements and all patentable advances in technology
  • Assist in customer's feedback and complaint investigation.
  • Draft technical report as needed and coordinate with R&D and QA/QC department for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates MUST possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Food Tech, Food Science, Food Engineering.
  • Passionate to work in a food manufacturing environment involving preparing and mixing ingredients, frying and steaming.
  • Required language(s) :Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other dialects will be an advantage.
  • Candidates must be meticulous in their work, be self-driven and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Support and work with the Research Development team for on-going projects.
  • Preferably 2 years experience in developing frozen food products, seafood products or surimi products.
  • Highly motivated and willing to meet performance expectations.
