We are seeking an experienced R&D RF Hardware Design Lead to lead the design and development of next-generation RF Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions. You will drive RF hardware architecture, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative semiconductor test solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead RF hardware design and technical direction for new product development.
- Design and develop RF circuits, including schematic design, simulation, and optimization.
- Review RF PCB layouts focusing on signal integrity, grounding, routing, and shielding.
- Perform RF hardware debugging, validation, characterization, and root cause analysis.
- Define RF hardware validation plans and ensure production readiness.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and NPI teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in RF hardware design and development.
- Strong knowledge of RF circuit design, PCB layout review, debugging, and characterization.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Oscilloscope.
- Experience using RF simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF instrumentation or Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- Experience with RF IC test hardware (PA, LNA, FEM, switches, filters).
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing support.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.
Salary: up to RM 10.000
