Radiographer

Responsible to acquire image using range of equipment eg: Digital/ analog Radiography system, fluoroscopy, Computerized Tomography (CT) scanner, and magnetic resonance (MR) scanner to diagnose illnesses and injuries
Provide excellent services and care to patients
Adhere to safe work practices especially patient safety, radiation protection and infection control
Actively participate and contribute in quality improvement projects and quality assurance programmes
To carry out all imaging procedures and produce quality images of diagnostic value with minimal radiation to patients and staff
Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect
Perform general radiography and specialized imaging
Responsible for FOMEMA & other x-ray online reporting and other data reports as require
Maintain proper record and filing with ensuring confidentiality
Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment, with proper recording/ filing
To ensure room temperature/ storage condition required for different imaging equipment
Ensure equipment and modalities are serviced and maintained according to preventive maintenance schedule.
Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process
Set up and operate any new machine
Participate in quality improvement projects of the department and hospital
Assist in administrative tasks when required
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or any related field
At least 1 year of working experience in related field
Willing to learn, responsible, good interpersonal skills and meticulous.
Registered under KKM
Proficient in operating computerized machines such as X-rays and Ultrasound equipment
Must have own transport
Can work under flexible working hours
