Regional Operational Excellence Director – Wider Asia

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are looking for an experienced Regional Operational Excellence Director to lead and strengthen Operational Excellence across our manufacturing network in Wider Asia.

This is a regional leadership opportunity for someone who brings together hands-on manufacturing operations experience and strong Operational Excellence expertise. You will work closely with Plant Directors and Operations Leaders across multiple sites to improve performance, build capabilities and embed a strong culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead Operational Excellence across multiple manufacturing sites in Wider Asia.
• Partner with Plant Directors and Operations Leaders to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
• Drive Operational Excellence programmes using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen and World Class Manufacturing.
• Lead regional transformation and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Identify and share best practices across manufacturing sites.
• Coach and develop manufacturing leaders and site teams.
• Build sustainable Continuous Improvement capabilities across the organisation.
• Track performance and ensure improvement programmes deliver measurable business results.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in Manufacturing and Operations, ideally within a multinational organisation.
• Proven experience leading Operational Excellence across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Hands-on experience leading manufacturing operations — not only Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement roles.
• Previous leadership experience such as Plant Director, Operations Director, Manufacturing Director, Factory Director or Site Director would be highly valuable.
• Experience within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Tobacco, Pharmaceutical or another world-class manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, WCM, Kaizen or similar Operational Excellence systems.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders across different countries and manufacturing sites.
• Proven ability to lead transformation programmes independently and deliver measurable results.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field.
