Reporting-Focused Data Engineer

We are looking for a Reporting-Focused Data Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS to join our team. Hands-on experience developing and supporting enterprise reporting solutions, with exposure to system integration, automation, and secure file transfers.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in SSRS report development.
• Experience supporting production reporting environments.
• Good knowledge of MSSQL and SSIS.
• Experience with system integration and data workflows.
• Practical experience with PowerShell automation.
• Experience with PGP/GPG encryption is an advantage.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SSRS reports and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
• Build and maintain SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
• Provide support for production reporting environments, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Support system integrations, secure file transfers, and automated data processes.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate operational and reporting tasks.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reporting requirements.
• Ensure reporting solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
