As a Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) at Aurecon, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering excellence on-site. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities align with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact industrial and institutional developments, including data centres and complex structural systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing engineering solutions to site issues and coordinating with discipline leads.
- Overseeing site activities and offering technical advice on construction and design matters.
- Reviewing technical submissions and contractor drawings in consultation with project leads.
- Ensuring compliance of works with approved drawings and specifications.
- Collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, and the supply chain to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitoring daily construction activities and conducting regular site inspections.
- Verifying materials delivered to site meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.
- Attending project meetings and coordinating inspections with stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in civil and structural supervision, particularly in industrial or institutional developments.
- Strong knowledge of data centre construction, precast structures, structural steel, and local construction practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is preferred.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A relevant degree from a recognized university and must be a registered engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
- Must be open to work on a Fixed Term Contract (1 Year)
