Position : Resident Engineer
Industry : Industrial machinery manufacturing, paper processing
Location: Beranang, Selangor
Employment Type: 15 months contract with PERSOL (inclusive of 3 months training in China, Dongguan)
Salary range : RM5,000 - RM6,800 (based on experience & qualification)
What You'll Do
- Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting & maintenance
- Install, commission & optimize corrugator machinery
- Ensure equipment reliability and smooth production operations
- Train operators and client maintenance teams
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly
- Work with global support teams and vendors
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related field
- At least 1 year of onsite engineering/support experience
- Strong troubleshooting & technical problem-solving skills
- Able to read technical drawings & system manuals
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (must communicate with Chinese-speaking clients)
- Willing to travel, work shifts, weekends & emergency support
