Job Description


Job Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.Monitoring and controlling safety and compliance in the organization as per the Safety and Health Act 1994 and organization's safety policy.Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.Advising the management on safety issue as well as developing health and safety policies and procedures.Carrying out safety inspection an internal audits and reporting to management with suggestions and measures for improvement.Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.To lead safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and initiatives.Ensure all staff complies with those regulations include compliance to Environmental regulations.Provide and initiate SHE trainings to ensure all employees are fully aware and adequately trained according to legislation requirements.Submit annually the necessary documents to DOSH as required by the Act.Implement 5 S to ensure safety surrounding areas.Coordinate and liase with relevent authorities (JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga)Liaise with Bomba on fire preventive, evacuation and conduct fire drill training.Liaise with vendor to do monthy checking for Fire System.Responsbile to attend call to verifiy with SPKA (Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik).Assist all visiting government officer and consult related to safety, health and environment.Perform any other relevant/adhoc tasks as assigned by superior/Management.
Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.Certified and registered as Safety and Health Officer with (Department of Occupational Safety & Health, Malaysia) DOSHCompetent Safety and Health Officer with minimum two or three years working experienceIn-depth knowledge of legislation and procedures.Experience in report writing and policies for health and safety.Ability to plan, implement and monitor safety program, policies, and procedures.
