Role Description The Sales Application Specialist – Advanced Diagnostic Division is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role involves presenting and demonstrating advanced diagnostic workflow solutions to laboratory clients, including toxic-free systems for histology and cytology. The specialist will support the sales team by conducting product trainings, assisting with installations, and providing technical and application guidance to end users. Daily responsibilities include managing sales inquiries, preparing proposals, coordinating product demonstrations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support and follow-up. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to provide feedback on customer needs, contribute to sales strategies, and help optimize laboratory workflows in line with MSQH requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with laboratory professionals, present solutions clearly, and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Laboratory skills and experience in histology, cytology, or related diagnostic fields, with an understanding of workflow processes and quality standards.
  • Sales and sales operations skills, including lead management, pipeline tracking, proposal preparation, and coordination of the sales cycle.
  • Training skills to deliver effective product and application training sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur, travel to customer locations as required, and manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and capability to translate customer needs into practical application solutions.
  • Prior experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or laboratory equipment sales is an advantage.
