Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets, providing guidance and support for individual and collective success.
  • Expanding new product business for company
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profit margin, considering market trends and competition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing training to the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold and communicate effectively to both the team and clients.
  • Present and showcase the value proposition of the offered products or services to clients during sales pitches, trade shows, or other opportunities.
  • Regularly analyse sales data, prepare forecasts, and generate reports for the leadership team.
  • To stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitors to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Optimize sales expenses and allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
  • Foster collaboration between sales and other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to enhance overall business performance.
  • Lead or support negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Address challenges and resolve issues that may arise within the sales process or team dynamics.
  • To ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Establish a feedback loop with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve products, services, and the sales process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Nuclear Science, Business, Marketing, etc.)
  • Experience in Oncology, Radiology and IVD will be added advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales of healthcare > 5 years, with a proven track record of success. Previous experience in a leadership role is often preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical products and their applications
  • Strong communication and good presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with sales management software, CRM systems, and other relevant technologies.
