Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant supporting enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, administration, and operations.
• Expertise in SAP database administration, including SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, and SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), UNIX, and Windows Server.
• Experience with SAP BTP, cloud technologies, hyperscaler integration (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SAP Fiori administration.
• Experience in SAP installations, upgrades, kernel upgrades, system copies, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of SAP security, authorizations, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional project environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex SAP technical issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and ensuring stable system operations.
• Plan and execute SAP installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, and refresh activities across SAP environments.
• Administer and optimize SAP databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, SQL Server), including backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement SAP security and authorization best practices.
• Administer SAP cloud environments, including SAP BTP and hybrid landscapes integrating on-premise infrastructure with hyperscalers.
• Create, maintain, and update system documentation, operating procedures, technical standards, and operational manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability, reliability, and compliance.
