Role Description The SAP CO Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam, responsible for leading the Controlling (CO) workstream in SAP implementations and enhancements. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring SAP CO solutions, and aligning controlling processes with finance and overall business operations. The SAP CO Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and consulting partners to ensure effective integration with modules such as SAP FICO and related master data. Daily activities include conducting workshops, preparing functional specifications, overseeing testing and user training, resolving production issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The individual will also provide guidance to junior team members, contribute to best practices, and help drive ROBOXA's SAP digital transformation projects to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• 15+ Years, Lead the SAP CO workstream for a large-scale S/4HANA transformation project for a

manufacturing client.

• Drive end-to-end SAP CO solution design, configuration, integration, testing, cutover and golive

activities.

• Provide strong functional expertise across Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting,

Internal Orders, Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, CO-PA, Overhead Accounting and

Period-End Closing.

• Own complex Product Costing processes including costing variants, BOM/routing integration,

costing sheets, overhead calculation, standard cost estimates, production order costing, WIP,

variance calculation and settlement.

• Lead Material Ledger and Actual Costing processes, including inventory valuation and actual

cost component analysis.

• Design and implement Account-Based CO-PA / Margin Analysis solutions, including profitability

reporting, allocations, derivations and settlement.

• Lead CO activities across S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield and Bluefield / Selective Data

Transition implementations.

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard / Fit-to-Gap workshops, requirement gathering and business process

analysis with finance and manufacturing stakeholders.

• Design scalable CO solutions aligned with complex manufacturing costing, production and

management accounting requirements.

• Ensure seamless integration of CO with FI, MM, PP, SD, PS and PM.

• Provide strong expertise in FI-CO integration and Universal Journal (ACDOCA) in S/4HANA.

• Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, data validation and reconciliation

activities.

• Support and lead data migration, mock cutover, final cutover and production deployment

activities for the CO workstream.

• Drive period-end and year-end closing processes, including allocations, assessments,

settlements, WIP and variance calculations.

• Review functional specifications, integration designs and technical developments related to CO.

• Identify business process gaps and recommend SAP standard / best-practice solutions

wherever applicable.

• Lead and mentor SAP CO consultants and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Act as the primary SAP CO SME for business stakeholders, project leadership and implementation

teams.

• Manage critical CO issues, provide root-cause analysis and drive resolution within project

timelines.

• Ensure solution quality, documentation, compliance and adherence to S/4HANA best practices.

• Support hyper care and post-go-live stabilization, ensuring smooth transition to business

operations.

• Work closely with business users, finance leadership and manufacturing process owners to ensure

• successful adoption of the S/4HANA solution.
