Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant to support payroll solutioning, integration, migration, testing, and documentation activities. The consultant will work closely with functional teams, ABAP developers, CPI consultants, Basis teams, and client stakeholders to deliver payroll-related requirements across SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP Payroll, and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have strong payroll functional knowledge, hands-on technical understanding, and experience supporting ECC Payroll to S/4HANA or S/4HANA RISE transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP S/4HANA Payroll integration through BIB configuration and related integration activities.
Provide techno-functional payroll expertise across SAP Payroll, S/4HANA compatible payroll packs, ECC on-premise, and S/4HANA RISE environments.
Analyze existing ECC Payroll processes and support solution design for migration or transformation to S/4HANA.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with functional consultants, ABAP developers, CPI consultants, Basis teams, client stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
Prepare and review functional specifications for payroll-related enhancements, interfaces, reports, conversions, forms, and workflows.
Review integration flows and provide functional validation to ensure alignment with payroll business requirements.
Support interface design and review across Payroll end to end flow including CPI, and related systems.
Prepare test scripts, execute unit testing, and support defect resolution during SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Document configuration, interface requirements, test outcomes, and solution design decisions.
Participate in client-facing workshops, requirement gathering sessions, design discussions, and issue resolution meetings.
Provide guidance on payroll process alignment, integration dependencies, and technical-functional impacts.
Support project delivery activities and be willing to travel to Singapore for business or project requirements when needed.
Required Experience and Skills:
Strong experience in SAP Payroll with techno-functional capability.
Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors EC to SAP Payroll / S/4HANA Payroll integration using BIB configuration.
Experience with SAP ECC Payroll on-premise and S/4HANA Payroll to S/4HANA RISE transformation.
Good understanding of S/4HANA-compatible payroll packs and payroll-related migration considerations.
Ability to work with ABAP, CPI, and Basis teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
Experience preparing functional specifications, test scripts, and unit test documentation.
Ability to review integration flows and validate payroll-related data movement across systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in payroll integration and interface scenarios.
Comfortable working in a client-facing role with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP Payroll integration projects.
Experience in ECC or S/4HANA migration to S/4HANA RISE implementation.
Exposure to payroll interfaces, data replication, BIB mapping, and integration troubleshooting.
Experience working in Singapore payroll environments.
Ability to work independently and guide cross-functional teams on payroll solution design.
