About the Role
We are seeking an SAP SD Specialist to join a dynamic technology team supporting enterprise-wide SAP solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) who enjoy working with business stakeholders to deliver functional solutions, optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and support SAP S/4HANA implementations.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance SAP SD solutions while ensuring smooth business operations and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide SAP SD solutions for the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects.
- Prepare functional design documents and detailed functional specifications.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop, test, and deploy new solutions and enhancements.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide production support.
- Configure and maintain SAP SD settings, transactions, and reports.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize the sales and invoicing lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Support integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and PS, as well as third-party applications.
- Monitor support tickets and ensure timely resolution while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD).
- Experience supporting Order-to-Cash (Order to Invoicing) business processes.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications is an advantage.
- Experience with at least one SAP implementation or support project.
- Knowledge of SAP SD configuration, transactions, and reporting.
- Experience writing functional specifications for enhancements and change requests.
- Familiarity with testing activities including test plans, test cases, and functional testing.
- Experience with Oracle invoicing or related invoicing systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- SAP SD certification is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage, particularly for candidates with limited experience.
