Job Description
- Prepare cost-effective & optimum design solutions on customized scaffolding as per project/ client requirements in line with industry standards;
- Review and ensure the safety, feasibility, and functionality of designs, with a focus on structural aspects, considering factors such as constructability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability;
- Offer technical support to sales and project departments, including tendering and on-site construction;
- Coordinate with various stakeholders such as sales engineers, clients, consultants, and/or contractors for projects; and
- Efficiently manage additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the management.
- Independent execution of Scaffold design, Formwork, and Shoring
- Preparation of GADs, BQs, statical calculations, and method statements for offers and order execution
- Brief Product Specialist before arrival on site (hand over GADs, BQs, and assembly drawings, give relevant soft information)
- Support the Project Manager whenever needed
- Practice subsidiary-related standards and check the availability of products
- Project-related cooperation with other departments.
- Advise and support the Sales Engineer in engineering-related matters
- Liaise with Operations Departments to ensure performing deliveries
- Coordinate site-specific requirements with the Product Specialist
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding,formwork, shoring, or related industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of other software (Solidworks, Revit, Sketchup, and Microstation) will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with architectural, civil, electrical, or mechanical drafting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and ability to read and converse in Mandarin is a must to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
