Join Sii Malaysia as a Scrum Master and play a key role in driving Agile delivery across multiple projects. In this position, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, collaborate closely with Business and IT Product Owners, and ensure effective prioritization and execution of project deliverables. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Jira backlogs, tracking outstanding tasks, and fostering continuous improvement within Agile teams. Your tasks
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Monthly Planning, and PI Planning sessions
- Collaborating with Business and IT Product Owners to prioritize requirements and align delivery with business objectives
- Managing and maintaining project backlogs in Jira, ensuring transparency and accurate prioritization of work items
- Monitoring project progress and proactively following up on outstanding tasks, dependencies, and risks
- Supporting Agile best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives across teams
- Coordinating and leading 2-3 projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery quality and timeline adherence
- Facilitating communication between business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams
- Tracking sprint commitments and helping teams remove impediments to maximize productivity
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile frameworks, and software development lifecycles
- Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and PI Planning
- Proven experience managing and maintaining Jira backlogs and Agile boards
- Ability to work closely with Business and IT Product Owners on prioritization and delivery planning
- Experience tracking dependencies, risks, and outstanding actions across multiple workstreams
- Ability to successfully manage 2-3 projects in parallel while maintaining delivery focus and team engagement
- Excellent English communication skills and experience working with distributed international teams
