Work you'll do

This internship is for students who want to use technology, data and AI to help young people learn and prepare for work. The intern will support SEA WorldClass by helping to build digital learning pathways, improve how Deloitte programmes appear on SkillUp and other digital learning platforms, and support day-to-day programme delivery.

  • Help design learning pathways that include online courses, projects, credentials and links to job opportunities.
  • Help make digital, technology and AI topics easier for learners to understand.
  • Support simple guides that show learners what to take, what to complete and what they can do next.

1. Build practical digital and AI learning pathways

  • Help organise courses into clear learning pathways for AI, data, cloud, cybersecurity and digital skills.
  • Review courses on SkillUp and other platforms to see if they are useful, current and easy to understand.
  • Find missing topics or courses that learners may need.
  • Suggest simple ways to explain technical topics to non-technical learners.
  • Work with Deloitte volunteers, industry practitioners and partner organisations to make sure the pathways are practical and relevant to current industry needs.
  • Help prepare pathway guides with course lists, project ideas, credentials and next steps for learners.

2. Improve digital platforms and Deloitte programme branding

  • Review how Deloitte programmes appear on SkillUp and other digital learning platforms.
  • Check if learners can easily find and recognise Deloitte programmes.
  • Suggest ways to make Deloitte branding clearer across digital learning platforms.
  • Help plan and update Deloitte programme pages, including a possible landing page on SkillUp. Work with volunteers and partner organisations to upload or update learning content on SkillUp or other platforms.
  • Check that page links, course flow and learner instructions are clear.
  • Support simple communications or updates that help more learners, volunteers and partner organisations know about Deloitte programmes.

3. Turn research and content into learner-friendly materials

  • Research digital, technology and AI skills that young people need for work, using input from Deloitte volunteers, partner organisations and industry trends.
  • Summarise findings in short notes, slides or tables.
  • Draft simple content for documents, slides, reports and updates.
  • Help explain the learning pathways clearly to learners, teams and partner organisations.

4. Support delivery, tracking, and stakeholder coordination

  • Track learner sign-ups, course completion, feedback and programme updates, working with platform owners when the platform is managed by another team or partner organisation.
  • Keep trackers, reports, folders, timelines and contact lists updated.
  • Set up meetings, take notes and track follow-up actions.
  • Help coordinate volunteers for content upload, workshops or learner activities across relevant platforms and programmes.
  • Support communication with internal teams, Deloitte volunteers, partners and other external stakeholders.
  • Help with other programme tasks when needed.

Requirements

Education:

  • Studying computer science, AI, data science, information systems, technology, engineering, digital media, education technology, business or a related field.
  • Interested in digital learning, AI, data, online platforms, education, employability or social impact.

Skills and qualities:

  • Interested in technology, AI, data and online learning.
  • Able to review online content and see what is clear, useful or missing.
  • Able to organise information clearly and write simple notes, slides and summaries.
  • Comfortable working with data, trackers and programme information.
  • Interested in improving online learning pages, branding and learner experience.
  • Organised, proactive, careful with details and willing to learn.

Useful technical skills:

  • Basic understanding of AI, data or online learning platforms would be helpful.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other work tools.
  • Experience using Power BI, Canva, GenAI tools or analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience with websites, landing pages or user testing would be helpful but is not required.
