Senior AI Engineer (GenAI / RAG) — Banking
We're hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade GenAI systems for our AI Lab — think RAG pipelines, AI agents, and decision-support tools for a regulated banking environment.
You'll:
- Own AI systems end-to-end: architecture → build → evals → deployment → production support
- Design and optimize RAG pipelines (ingestion, chunking, retrieval, reranking, generation)
- Build LLM-powered features using OpenAI/Anthropic/Bedrock/Azure OpenAI
- Implement agentic workflows, tool use, and structured outputs
- Bake in observability, security (prompt injection defense, PII handling), and governance from day one
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar
You have:
- 5+ years software engineering, 3+ years building production AI/ML or GenAI systems
- Strong Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, FastAPI, React
- Hands-on RAG experience (vector DBs like pgvector/OpenSearch/Pinecone/FAISS/Weaviate)
- Experience with LLM evals, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.)
- Docker + AWS/Azure deployment experience
- Bonus: regulated industry (banking/fintech) experience
