This role is part of Alcon's Quality Assurance function, responsible to provide/lead technical support for laboratory equipment/ system/methods which including qualification, troubleshooting and improvement activities.

Job description:

  • Lead qualification for laboratory equipment/ systems/method to fulfil committed timeline
  • Lead troubleshooting/investigation related to laboratory equipment/ systems / methods using advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills
  • Remediate gaps and drive improvement for laboratory equipment/ system/methods
  • Support in developing/transferring analytical methods and ensure the accuracy and precision of analyses
  • Support LIMS masterdata update and improvement projects (site & global)
  • Support periodic review activities for equipment/system/methods
  • Deliver Administrator responsibilities for laboratory equipment/ system/ methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lab results into the manufacturing process and drive innovation through scientific principles and ensure adherence to GxP regulations by maintaining accurate and complete documentation
  • Adherence to Alcon Values & Behaviors, observe and ensure full compliance to Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
  • Ensure that processes are conducted in full compliance with the GxP and the Alcon Quality
  • Ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards

Minimum requirement:

  • Education: Degree holder in Science or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in GxP regulated environment
  • Skills: Good knowledge and skills in laboratory equipment/systems/methods qualification. Good project management skills and computerized systems knowledge. Having experience in LIMS will be an advantage
